Do you have a list of the devices available for clients to rent via Hofy?
Our home office equipment catalog has over 400 items to equip home offices, including headsets, cable adapters, desks, laptops, docking stations, footrests, headphones, keyboards, laptop stands, monitors, mobile phones, mice, trackpads, printers, chairs, task lights, webcams, and WiFi extenders. Availability varies slightly from country to country.
How can the employee/contractor track the estimated delivery time?
A tracking link is provided for all remote work equipment shipped to full-time and part-time hires.
Does the client pay a security deposit to rent equipment via Hofy?
No, there is no deposit charged to rent Hofy equipment, so you don’t need to worry about constantly checking for reimbursements.
What happens if a rental equipment item is damaged? Is there hardware support?
Hofy issues replacements for any products that arrive damaged or don’t arrive. All equipment comes with a premium warranty that includes the manufacturer's warranty coverage for the lease’s lifetime. Loaner laptops are provided for items damaged after usage while an audit of the damage occurs. Once repaired, team members will receive their device back, and the Deel customer will be responsible for repair costs. If home equipment provided by the company is damaged, that falls under the individual company policy.
If the equipment is out of stock, can a replacement be ordered?
Out-of-stock orders get placed on backorder; when this occurs, we’ll send an email to the team member with the expected shipping date. New hire laptops get marked as crucial, so if a computer is not in stock, Hofy Customer Support will notify the team member’s manager with a proposed solution and ensure the new hire receives a laptop. Once it’s back in stock, the order will ship.
