2024 was a huge year for Deel. From becoming the world’s largest fully-remote company and shipping over 1k product updates and features, to helping hire and pay thousands of global workers more than $11.2 billion in 100+ currencies, there’s a lot to celebrate this year!

Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished together.

Building a Truly Global Team

This year, Deel became the largest fully remote company in the world. Our team grew to 4,500 members spread across 104 countries, spanning 28 time zones, and speaking 74 languages. We’re proud to be a company where global distribution and flexibility are at the core of who we are – it means we can better understand and serve the needs of our global clients with on-the-ground expertise.

Supporting Workers Worldwide

We paid $11.2 billion to workers in nearly 100 currencies, ensuring people get paid, no matter where they are. We also provided healthcare and benefits to workers in 109 countries, and approved 765,054 days of vacation—equivalent to 2,096 years of time off! It’s important to us that workers have the time they need to recharge and be their best.

Simplifying Global Mobility

Navigating the complexities of immigration can be a daunting task, but we’re here to help. In 2024, Deel assisted workers in applying and getting approved for visas in 33 countries, spending 3 million hours to ensure smooth and successful applications. This effort has made it easier for companies to bring in the best talent from around the world, fostering a more connected and dynamic global workforce.

Expanding Our Services Through Strategic Acquisitions

To better serve our clients, we’ve fully integrated three key acquisitions this year: Payspace, Zavvy, and Hofy. Each of these integrations has expanded our capabilities and improved our platform.

• Global Payroll – Payspace, now Deel Global Payroll, enhanced our native global payroll services, making it easier for companies to manage payments accurately and efficiently. Post integration, Deel now offers global payroll in 100+ countries, with 50+ native payroll engines around the world.
• Deel Engage – Zavvy, now fully integrated as Deel Engage, brings talent management and engagement tools to Deel, helping companies train and retain their top talent.
• Deel IT – Hofy, now fully integrated as Deel IT, delivered tens of thousands of devices to people in 125 countries, ensuring that remote workers have the tools they need to succeed.

Deel Speed = Continuous Improvement, Innovation and Recognition

We shipped 1,152 updates to our product this year, including new launches, all the way down to fixes and updates. It’s in our DNA to move at breakneck speed to improve the product and exceed expectations… whether it’s a major new feature or a minor bug fix.

It’s why we’ve been able to grow and retain our customer base – this year adding thousands of new customers including Instacart, TIME, OpenAI, and Doordash, and partners like AWS, SAP and Station F. And we’re proud that our efforts have been recognized:

• We received overwhelmingly positive user feedback, with an average rating of 4.83 across 15,000 reviews on G2, Trustpilot, Capterra, and both Apple and Google App Stores.
• This year we were honored to be named #28 on the CNBC Disruptor 50 list, #5 by Deloitte Fast 500, #8 on the Forbes Cloud 100 list, and once again on YC’s Top Companies 2024.
