Disconnected HR tools led to inefficient, non-transparent people processes

As the reev team grew, with employees from over 20 nationalities, it became clear that the current talent management setup was at odds with their core values of trust, responsibility, and agility.

The company’s information and talent management system were scattered across multiple tools and disjoined processes; they used four different tools to manage career progression, feedback, growth conversations, competencies, and feedback results.

For Christina Bacher, reev’s People and Organisation team lead, the manual labor of managing disconnected tools for different HR processes hindered her team from delivering strategic initiatives to support employee development.

This scattered system impacted not only HR but also the company’s team managers. Managers could not implement processes such as peer reviews or 360 feedback, as it would have been too complicated with existing tools.
